Yamaha Aerox 13 inch rims glossy coated / glossy
In cooperation with a finishing company, we are able to offer you Yamaha Aerox rim sets that have been freshly powder-coated.
Procedure
First, the old wheel bearings are removed and the rims are chemically stripped. After this process, the rim sets are sandblasted and degreased, making them ready for the new powder coating. After the rims have been powder-coated, they are then coated with a clear coat to bring out their full shine.
Wheel bearing / rim sleeve
When ordering the rims, new wheel bearings in 10mm (original size) and the rim sleeve are included. These are not installed by us, as the size of the fork leg's thru-axle (Stage 6 / RPG) can vary. 10-15mm
Advantages of powder coating:
1. Longer shelf life
Powder coatings are generally more durable than paints.
They offer a more resistant surface to scratches, abrasion, chemicals, and weathering, making them ideal for replacement in demanding environments.
2. Environmental friendliness
Powder coatings are more environmentally friendly than paints because they generally do not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This reduces the release of harmful chemicals into the air and lessens the environmental impact.
3.Quality- uniform coating, thickness of the coating
Powder coatings generally produce a more uniform coating than paints because the powder is applied electrostatically to the workpiece and spreads evenly.
4. Protection- UV and corrosion
Powder coatings provide effective protection against rust and corrosion by forming an impermeable layer that protects the metal underneath from moisture and harmful elements.
