With this shock absorber, RPG offers you an absolute all-rounder. Whether on the street, racetrack or at a custom show, this shock makes it possible to perfectly bridge the gap between all areas of use.

Spring

We listened to you and over time have tested many different springs. Initially, this shock absorber was designed more for road use, with a progressive spring that felt very soft over small bumps and became stiffer as the force increased. 

But we listened to your feedback. The target group is getting faster, older and unfortunately also heavier. So we needed a spring that would also satisfy larger riders over 80 kg. This means that from now on all shocks will be delivered as standard with a linear 31.5 N/mm spring.

The new linear spring ensures sporty handling by feeling equally firm at all times. This allows the rider to get perfectly used to the setup and always receive the same feedback from the road.

Setting options

The shock absorber can be perfectly adjusted to the conditions of the track and the rider’s preferences. The spring preload (vehicle ride height) can be adjusted continuously via the large knurled nut. The rebound damping (extension speed) can be adjusted in up to 24 steps from “soft” to “hard”. The length of the shock absorber can also be fine-tuned slightly (approx. 10 mm).

Our shock absorbers are CNC machined and then anodized in various colors to provide long-term protection against external influences. The spring is protected against corrosion by a glossy black powder coating. The anodized aluminum parts are made of high-strength aluminum, which is also used in the aerospace industry.

Scope of delivery

The shock absorber is delivered in high-quality foam packaging, including the required adjustment tool for the spring preload. Also included is a reduction sleeve from M10 to M8 to make it suitable for a wide range of other scooter models.

All scooters with Minarelli engine. Developed for Yamaha Aerox / MBK Nitro. Also fits many Chinese models and Peugeot Speedfight 2
