We at RPG spared no expense or effort and worked for a long time on this new and innovative mudguard. The end result was amazing! A perfect rear fender like never before!

What problems do other manufacturers have?

Admittedly, there are, or have already been, a lot of different mudguards for the Yamaha Aerox and co. But all of these fenders have fundamental problems!

Almost all mudguards from other manufacturers are attached to the exhaust using a small plastic holder with the screw. This holder breaks after a very short time on each of these mudguards. We have already seen several hundred such defective mudguards ourselves.

Plus, they all share another big problem: they all have an unprotected gap between the tire and the engine. So all the dirt and water inevitably splashes against your carburettor and, in the worst case, into your open sports air filter.

There was previously only one manufacturer that could solve the problems mentioned above. But they haven't been producing them for a long time and these mudguards weren't exactly cheap either. But here too there was a fundamental problem: there was no cutout for the shock absorber. As a result, the mudguard always hung crooked and rubbed against the shock absorber.

We have the solution!

Through our years of experience and many destroyed mudguards, we have collected all of these negative aspects and thought of solutions for them. Our RPG mudguard was developed to fit 100% precisely using the latest laser scanning technology. It closes all gaps to the engine right down to the last column. There is no thin plastic holder, but rather a large vertical surface that lies completely straight on the engine block and is fixed with two screws.

A generous recess was added for the shock absorber so that nothing can come into contact or drag.

The material

We only use high-quality ABS plastic for our trim parts, which is also used in the automotive industry for bumpers and other trim parts. The ABS has a beautiful black color and the UV protection not only protects it from fading, but also gives the black a nice shiny surface.

The material thickness was chosen to be extra thin because such a mudguard does not have to withstand a lot of force. It just has to withstand the high vibrations of a two-stroke engine. Our mudguard is therefore extremely flexible and adapts to all external influences.

The holder

The mounting bracket that connects our mudguard to the engine was laser cut from lightweight aluminum. The elongated holes help with installation because the position of the fender can be easily adjusted. The sheets are brushed, giving them a noble surface and the punched RPG logo is bold and subtle at the same time.
