What problems do other manufacturers have?

Admittedly, there are, or have been, a lot of different mudguards for the Yamaha Aerox and the like. But all of these mudguards have fundamental problems!

Almost all mudguards from other manufacturers are attached to the exhaust bolt via a small plastic bracket. This bracket breaks on every one of these mudguards after a very short time. We've seen several hundred such defective mudguards ourselves.

They also all share another major problem: They all have an unprotected gap between the tire and the engine. This inevitably causes all the dirt and water to splash against your carburetor and, in the worst case, into your open sports air filter.

Previously, there was only one manufacturer that could solve the problems mentioned above. However, this manufacturer hasn't been producing them for a long time, and these fenders weren't exactly cheap. But even here, there was a fundamental problem: There was no cutout for the shock absorber. As a result, the fender always hung crookedly and rubbed against the shock absorber.

We have the solution!

Through our years of experience and numerous destroyed fenders, we've gathered all these negative aspects and come up with solutions. Our RPG fender was developed using state-of-the-art laser scanning technology to ensure a 100% precise fit. It closes every gap between the fender and the engine, right down to the last crack. There's no thin plastic bracket, but rather a large vertical surface that sits perfectly flat on the engine block and is secured with two screws.

A generous recess was added for the shock absorber so that nothing can rest or drag here.

The material

We use only high-quality ABS plastic for our trim parts, which is also used in the automotive industry for bumpers and other trim parts. The ABS has a beautiful black color, and the UV protection not only protects against fading but also gives the black a beautiful glossy finish.

The material thickness was chosen to be extra thin because such a mudguard doesn't have to withstand a lot of force. It only needs to withstand the high vibrations of a two-stroke engine. This makes our mudguard extremely flexible and adapts to all external influences.

The holder

The mounting bracket that connects our fender to the engine is laser-cut from lightweight aluminum. The slotted holes aid installation, allowing for easy adjustment of the fender's position. The panels are brushed for a sophisticated finish, and the stamped RPG logo is bold yet subtle.
